The BC Lions generate great excitement in our community,” said Chilliwack Mayor Clint Hames. “We are excited to host the 2003 BC Lions training camp and all the community events surrounding the start of the season.

Also during the camp, on June 1 at 1:00 p.m. the Lions will host a controlled scrimmage at Exhibition Field at The Landing in Chilliwack.

Training Camp will continue in Chilliwack until June 8. The Lions first pre-season game is at Calgary on June 3 to face the Stampeders; then the BC Lions will return home to face the Edmonton Eskimos in pre-season play on June 10 at BC Place.
