Man pleads guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Lois Unger
Chilliwack: On February 24, 2016 at approximately 9:47pm, the Chilliwack RCMP received a call to check on the well-being of 51-year-old Lois Unger at her home in Yarrow. Police found Ms. Unger dead inside her residence and she had injuries indicative of homicide. IHIT was called in.

Early morning shooting in Chilliwack leaves one man dead – Victim Identified
Chilliwack: On January 31, 2018 at approximately 6 a.m., the Chilliwack RCMP received reports of shots fired at a house in the 9200-block of Broadway Street. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds who was then taken to hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
