General Duty
  • Uniformed General Duty Investigators are the front line of policing services in our community.
    Property Crime Section
  • Chilliwack RCMP Property Crimes Section is comprised of six plain clothes investigators who investigate property related crimes including break and enters, thefts, possession of stolen property, auto thefts, and thefts from motor vehicles.
    Strike Force Section - Marihuana Grow Operations
  • The Chilliwack RCMP Strike Force Section is very vigilant in its efforts to combat the problem of illegal marihuana grow operations in the community. This four member section is responsible for investigating marihuana grow operations. The Strike Force executes an average of two search warrants in Chilliwack each week.
    Municipal Traffic Section
  • The Chilliwack Municipal Traffic Section is dedicated to road safety and the reduction of death and injuries on our roadways. Through various initiatives aimed at speed enforcement, seat belt compliance, intersection enforcement and impaired driving detection, these traffic members strive to provide high levels of road safety for the motoring public.
    Drug Section
  • The Drug Section is responsible for coordinating drug intelligence and prioritizes these investigations throughout Chilliwack. This section targets the mid level drug trafficker focusing on Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Heroin and Ecstacy.
    First Nations Policing Section
  • The First Nations Policing Section is dedicated to serving the First Nations Communities within the City of Chilliwack and throughout the Upper Fraser Valley. Through pro-active initiatives such as MADD, DARE, Citizens on Patrol and various other Community Policing iniatives, the First Nations Police Officers dedicate their time and effort in ensuring safe homes and safe communities within the First Nations population of Chilliwack
    Forensic Ident Section
  • The Forensic Identification Section (FIS) is responsible for crime scene analysis, collecting, preserving and processing evidence, providing expert testimony in court with respect to forensic evidence as well as lectures and training on specialized techniques.
    Police Dog Services
  • Police Dog Services utilize specially trained dogs and their handlers to provide support services including tracking suspects and missing persons and searching for drugs and explosives.
    Serious Crime Section
  • The Serious Crime Section investigates crimes of a serious nature including robbery, arson, sex crimes, abductions, attempted murder, shootings, stabbings, major frauds and extortions. The police officers assigned to this unit provide in depth investigations with specialized knowledge and expertise.
    Street Crimes Section
  • The unit is a support to the Chilliwack Strike Force targeting marihuana grow operations for six months of the year, while focusing on problem oriented policing initiatives and pressing crime trends during the other six months.
    Criminal Intelligence Section (CIS)
  • The Criminal Intelligence Section investigates major organized crime groups and their associated criminal activities. The ultimate goal of this unit is to disrupt and dismantle these criminal organizations through investigation and prosecution of their members and their activities.
    Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT)
  • This team of highly skilled and experienced investigators investigates all homicides within the Lower Mainland.
