Utility Operations
Departmental Responsibilities:
The Utility Operations Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City's:
- Sanitary sewer system
- Potable water system
- Wastewater Treatment Plant
Providing water and sewer service to over 20,000 properties within the municipal boundaries, the Utilities Department maintains and operates:
- 55 sanitary pump stations
- Wastewater Treatmeant Plant
- 10 drinking water production wells
- 15 potable water pump stations
- 18 water reservoirs
- 4 drainage pumping stations
- over 1,500 kilometers of sanitary sewer mains and water distribution pipes.
