The City of Chilliwack is proud of its "community development" approach to providing leisure services to the community. Various cultural groups, sport organizations, community associations, businesses, not-for-profit societies and service clubs work closely with the Recreation & Culture Department to offer residents a variety and balance of leisure opportunities.

Hockey Tickets for Not-for-Profit Organizations
As part of the City's updated sponsorship agreement with the Chiefs Development Group, not-for-profit groups can apply for a limited number of free seats to Chiefs' games.

Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan
The final draft of the Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan was released in November 2013. The plan outlines the direction to be taken by the Recreation and Culture Department over the next five years.
