Greendale Elementary

Community School Society

(GECSS)

is a non-profit organization

formed to provide social, educational

and recreational activities for ALL in

our community & beyond! Use of the

Greendale Elementary Community

School’s facilities has been made

possible due to the partnership

between the Chilliwack School District

#33 and the City of Chilliwack. GECSS

gratefully acknowledges funding that

is received by the City of Chilliwack.

GECSS is all about

“Community”.

We hold Community Events such as

Potlucks or Games Nights a few times

a year to bring together all those who

live in this great area!

Fall & Winter Programs

With the start of the school year, we

are excited to see all the children

getting back into their routines,

reuniting with school mates & teachers

and settling in! Our Fall Programming

is a good way for young & old to try

something new or possibly “hone their

skills” on something once tried!

Greendale Community Block Party

Potluck

Friday, September 8th from 5-9pm at

Greendale School!

WHO:

Everyone in Greendale!

WHY:

Community gathering for ALL

to reconnect after a great summer!

WHAT TO BRING:

Potluck casserole/

crockpot meal and a salad and/or

dessert to share! Also lawn chairs/

picnic blankets and FRIENDS &

FAMILY! 5-6pm will be FUN GAMES

for ALL AGES! 6pm Dinner will be

served!

Little Kickers Soccer Program

Thursdays year-round!

Chilliwack Chitoryu Karate

Mondays & Wednesdays from 6-7pm.

Fall session starts on Monday,

September 11th. For more info & to

Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers

is offering their “Beginners Square

Dance Class” at Greendale! Thursday

September, 14th from 7-9pm.

FIRST NIGHT IS FREE! 10 week

commitment is $50/person or drop-in

rate at $6/person. For more info call

After School Sports & Arts Initiative

(ASSAI)

We receive funding from DASH BC

to be able to offer a certain amount of

FREE (or at a reduced cost) Sports

& Arts after-school programming

throughout the school year: single

& multi sport sessions, different art

mediums, and this year we will use

funds to reduce the cost of our Acting

Outright Program.

iLearning Canada

We are very pleased to have a

great educational company coming

back for this coming school year

with us. iLearning Canada provides

innovative classes to students looking

for unique opportunities to continue

their development in both science and

technology.  We will provide different

sessions with iLearning throughout the

school year.

Classes / Crafts / Music / Sports /

Cooking programs throughout the

year. If there is a course or program

that you would like us to put out there,

RENTALS

Birthday Parties, Family Gatherings,

Company Meetings / AGM’s, Club

Meetings…. just give us a call and

we would be happy to facilitate your

event!
