Chilliwack handyDART provides door-to-door service for persons with a physical or cognitive disability who cannot use regular public transportation without assistance. There are two types of service: regular subscription trips (once a week or more) and one-time trips, which require a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Passengers must be registered with handyDART and will receive a handyPASS. Application forms are available on the website or can be picked up in person at the office. Phone: 604-795-5121 Taxi-Saver Program is available through BC Transit for persons registered for handyDART. The program provides a 50% subsidy toward the cost of taxi rides. Passengers use coupons for taxi travel by booking with a participating taxi company. Taxi Saver coupons are sold at the local handyDART office to any permanent, registered handyDART user. Contact handyDART for more information. The Bus Pass Program offers a universal bus pass for low-income seniors and persons with disabilities, providing unlimited access on any scheduled BC Transit bus. Cost is $45 per year, expiring on December 31. To qualify for the program, an individual
