Kreative Kids. Ages: 7-12, Tues. & Thurs, 1:00-3:00 pm. Cost: $20 per week. *Members save 10%. In our caring environment, children will participate in fun and enjoyable activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, imaginative play all in the theme listed for the week’s sessions. Programs are safe and well-organized and are designed in relation to the child’s age and level of development. Healthy snacks provided for each class. Please provide a water bottle. July 7 & 9: Art from Scratch: Learn how to create a variety of art materials from everyday items that will be incorporated into different art projects! July 14 & 16: The Art of Nature: In these classes we will be exploring the art that nature provides using natural materials. July 21 & 23: ARTSplosions! Science Lab: Taking science out of the lab and into the art studio from chemistry to biology to ecology, art and science explode. July 28 & 30: World Art: Take a journey around the world and learn about some of the different cultures through traditional folk art using different materials and art techniques. August 4 & 6: Animal Planet: Take a walk on the wild side of art in this themed class on all things furry, scaled and feathered. August 11 & 13: Enviro Art: Through household items, cardboard, recycled and found objects, you will create decorative masterpieces of all shapes and sizes that make your footprint on the world an artsy one. August 18 & 20: Renaissance Kids: Travel back in time and learn about frescos, fashion, architecture and mosaics in European history. August 25 & 27: Space Crafts: Join us for an artistic adventure where space and art collide. Cosmic dust and constellations are some ingredients that make space and art out of this world.
