The City of Chilliwack is offering for sale ONE ONLY used 1989 Promac Flail Hammer Brushcutter.  Serial number 52A255, which was mounted on a Cat 325.  It is a two-blade cutter on a flail arm.  The cutter is set up to run dual directional with the additional relief valve on the motor head.  The cutter requires a 42 US Gallon Per Minute pump at 1700 psi.  The hydraulic motor recomendations are Hall M50X878 BEAF 25-11 or M51 A878 SPOR 17-11.  Operations, Maintenance and Parts Manual is available to purchaser.

Tenders will be accepted until 3:00 p.m., March 9th, 2004.  Bid documents may be picked up at City Hall, Main Reception Desk, 8550 Young Road, Chilliwack, B.C., V2P 8A9 and may be returned to the same address prior to the closing time for receipt of bids.  Bid documents may also be downloaded from the City's web page at www.chilliwack.com/bids.  Bids will be opened in public and the successful bidder shall be notified.  The brushcutter may be viewed at the Public Works Yard by calling Mr. Terry Annis, Mechanic Foreman at (604) 793-2814.
