Work:

The City of Chilliwack is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified companies to supply all labour, materials, design and consultation for the installation of a Yarrow Central Park Skateboard Facility. 

The work shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Include various materials or textures for terrain diversity and functionality;
  • Design an aesthetically pleasing space with the thought on consistency of skate park theme, patterns and angular orientation;
  • Analyze the areas adjacent to the skate park and design the site to protect and support their use;
  • Provide a work schedule;
  • Design a dual purpose design allowing Skate Park and perimeter seating to function as a venue for other non-skating events or performances;
  • Integrate the storm water management facilities into the main skate park area to engage the users and design the facilities so they are integrated with the features of the skate park;
  • Conduct at least two public information meetings.
