United Way of the Fraser Valley
Goals and Objectives
The purposes of the United Way of the Fraser Valley are to provide leadership and to stimulate citizen participation in the improvement of social conditions in the communities embraced by the society, and for such purposes:
Conduct voluntary fundraising campaigns to provide financial support for the operation and maintenance of services to meet proven needs.
Promote, coordinate and provide training and matching of volunteers to neede services in the community.
Plan, initiate, coordinate and evaluate health and social services supported, subscribed to, maintained or conducted in the Fraser Valley and to encourage high standards, economy and efficiency in the delivery of such services.
Provide information about and to increase public understanding of what is being accomplished by the United Way of the Fraser Valley and its participating members and what needs exist for health and social services.
