Parks, Recreation & Culture Department
  • The City of Chilliwack is proud of its "community development" approach to providing leisure services to the community. Various cultural groups, sport organizations, community associations, businesses, not-for-profit societies and service clubs work closely with the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department to offer residents a variety and balance of leisure opportunities.
    Leisure Access Program
  • The Leisure Access Program (LAP) has been established to provide access specifically to City residents who do not have the resources to attend without some form of financial assistance. This program complements existing price-reduced programs offered to the broader community (e.g. loonie/toonie swim/skate sessions).
    Park Improvements
  • Salish Park, Sardis Park and Jean McNaughton
Parks and Rec Strategic Plan Final Draft
  • The final draft of the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan was released Jan 19, 2004. The plan outlines the direction to be taken by the Parks and Recreation Department over the next five years.
    Quarterly Reports
  • Quarterly Reports for the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department.
