Who we are and What we do.

Who We Are...

Chilliwack Restorative Action and Youth Advocacy Association is a volunteer based program aimed at fostering a safe and caring community by administrating restorative justice programs.

The mandate of the program is to bring offenders and victims together in order to discuss criminal incidents and to find ways to repair the harm caused.

The Association been in operation since 1998 and during this time we have been extremely successful in connecting youth with their community, providing mentoring to young offenders, providing a forum for victims, and facilitating the payment of monetary restitution to victims by offenders.

Our volunteers:

  • believe in the youth of our community, they are tomorrow’s leaders
  • are dedicated to providing motivation and personal assistance to individuals
  • are willing to help individuals understand the impact of their actions on their community, their families, the victims, and themselves
  • are willing to help individuals and their families access other support in the community
