Operations Manual

The manual details the history and ongoing operations of our organization.  It contains policies, procedures and sample forms.  Reproduction in whole or in part for use by an organization involved in restorative justice and/or for educational purposes and non-commercial use is permitted. This manual was last updated in 2005.

 

Facilitation Guide for Restorative Justice

A comprehensive manual on how to conduct Community Accountability Panels, and other models of Restorative Justice.

Community Justice Forum

The Community Justice Forum model is the primary model of restorative justice. This model includes the offender, the offender’s family and supporters, the victim, and the victim’s supporters.

 

Community Accountability Panel

The Community Accountability Panel is used when the victim agrees to the referral but chooses not to participate in the Community Justice Forum.  This model involves the offender meeting with a panel of three volunteers who represent the community and the victim.
