Fire Prevention Week - October 4-10, 2009

 

We encourage everyone to be able to identify and prevent potential fire hazards in their homes and be prepared if an emergency does occur.

Fire Prevention Week Display – Chilliwack Mall - Oct 8, 9 & 10

 

Come see the Chilliwack Fire Department’s fire prevention display at the Chilliwack Mall and learn what fire hazards may exist in your home, how to prevent a fire and what to do if a fire occurs.

 

Chilliwack Fire Dept Open Houses – October 3 from 10am til 2pm

 

Join your local firefighters for a day of fun and activities. Tour the firehall, sit in the trucks, try on some gear, watch the firefighters demonstrate their equipment and more…don’t forget your camera!

Community Fire Drill – October 7 @ 6:30pm

 

When you hear the fire truck siren, test your smoke alarm and practice your home escape plan.
