Operation Red Nose
 Operation Red Nose
Our Service
Operation Red Nose is a unique service dedicated to fighting impaired driving. It is a volunteer driving service offered during the holiday season and provides motorists with a free safe ride home or between locations. Donations are accepted for the benefit of Chilliwack Restorative Action & Youth Advocacy Association. All proceeds are used to support youth programs in our community.
The service is available from White Rock to Harrison Hot Springs. Transfers are arranged between municipalities.
The service is provided by a team of three road volunteers. Two volunteers ride with the client in his/her vehicle while the other volunteer follows with an escort vehicle.
This service is provided to vehicle drivers and their passengers, to qualify you must have a vehicle. No vehicle, No Service! Operation Red Nose is not a taxi service.
Operation Red Nose is available annually, on weekends, during the holiday season, watch for campaign dates and hours of operation.
When planning your office or private party and if the event is on a scheduled service night, consider providing Operation Red Nose information to your guests. Call us for brochures and call cards, we’ll be happy to record your event and allow for possible increased volunteer demand.

Applications are available online, or can be picked up at the RCMP Detachment at 45924 Airport Rd or the community policing office.
