The Chilliwack RCMP Community Policing Office is committed to providing high quality policing services to the City of Chilliwack.  Chilliwack RCMP Members are dedicated to preserving the peace and protecting the lives and property of the citizens of this community.  As part of Canada's national police force, the Chilliwack RCMP is committed to promoting safe homes and safe communities through the implementation of various crime prevention and education programs.  The Chilliwack RCMP work in close partnership with various community groups in order to ensure that our citizens enjoy the highest standards of public safety.

Acting Superintendent Keith Robinson is the Officer in Charge of the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment.  In 2003, the Chilliwack RCMP joined forces with RCMP Detachments in Hope, Agassiz-Harrison and Boston Bar to form a truly integrated regional police force.  This integration allows the RCMP to be more effective in policing the communities it serves within the Upper Fraser Valley area.

Staff Sergeant Gerry FALK oversees the day to day operations of the Chilliwack Community Policing Office.

Chilliwack - UPDATE: Three Year Old Bit by a Neopolitan Mastiff
The Chilliwack RCMP has determined that there was no criminal intent, therefore charges will not be forwarded. There also is no record of any prior bites involving the Neopolitan Mastiff.

Chilliwack - Second Fire at 9462 Cook Street Apartments
Just before 4:30 am on July 1st, 2009 Chilliwack RCMP were called again to assist the Chilliwack Fire Department at 9462 Cook Street.

Chilliwack - Apartment Building Fire at the First Crime Free Multi-Housing
On June 29, 2009 at approx 10:45pm, the Chilliwack RCMP received a 911 call of an apartment on fire at 9462 Cook Street, Chilliwack, B.C. The apartment building contained three floors of residents. It was evacuated as a result of second floor apartment fully ablaze. A senior resident was rescued from the second floor apartment by Fire Department personnel, and taken to Vancouver General Hospital with 30 % burns to her body.

Chilliwack - Three Year Old Bit by a Neopolitan Mastiff
On June 29th, 2009 at approximately 8:20pm, Chilliwack RCMP attended a residence on Bonny Ave. in response to a three year old child being bitten by a dog. On arrival EHS was tending to the child's injuries.

  • The RCMP is currently recruiting for the Auxiliary Constable Program.The Auxiliary Constable Program is designed to strengthen community and police partnerships by providing volunteers with the opportunity to perform various authorized activities.
